Oliver is a student project of evolving derivative work,** based upon previous works -- beginning with that
done by Joseph Weizenbaum at MIT in 1964-1965.
Oliver is implemented using non-proprietary,
vendor-neutral coding so it can be run on virtually all popular
flavors of computers, operating system platforms, and browsers.
