Oliver is a student project of evolving derivative work,*
based upon previous works -- beginning with that
done by Joseph Weizenbaum at MIT in 1964-1965.
Oliver is implemented using non-proprietary,
vendor-neutral coding so it can be run on virtually all
flavors of computers, operating system platforms, and browsers.
Oliver will award you points, when you say Goodbye at the end
of your session.
Suggestion:
Think of Oliver as a wealthy, distant relative from a foreign country
whom you meet for the first time at a family gathering.
It is in your best interest to show him some attention.
How long can you keep up a conversation with Oliver?
